Development of Equivalent Dynamic Model of Distribution Network Using Clustering Procedure

چکیده
This paper presents the development of a dynamic equivalent model for a Distribution Network Cell (DNC) based on the UK 11kV distribution system. In a new and innovative approach, the methodology utilises the k-means clustering procedure to approximate the input and output dynamic responses of the network. By grouping together similar dynamic responses, the developed methodology is able to significantly reduce the computation time required to approximate the dynamic response of the network. The accuracy of the procedure is quantified by analysing the deviation of the true response from the approximated cluster centre. The computational efficiency of the approach is compared against parameter estimation without clustering, and the resulting approximation errors and computational improvements highlighted.

In this paper a bi-level optimization approach is introduced to increase the participation of household investors to install battery storage systems in the distribution level. The incentive prices are used here to encourage the private investor. In the upper level the viewpoint of the government is modeled in which, the peak shaving is the goal while minimizing the cost due to the allocated sub...
متن کاملMulti-layer Clustering Topology Design in Densely Deployed Wireless Sensor Network using Evolutionary Algorithms
Due to the resource constraint and dynamic parameters, reducing energy consumption became the most important issues of wireless sensor networks topology design. All proposed hierarchy methods cluster a WSN in different cluster layers in one step of evolutionary algorithm usage with complicated parameters which may lead to reducing efficiency and performance. In fact, in WSNs topology, increasin...
متن کاملDevelopment of a Hybrid Model for the Evaluation of Sustainable Supply Chains using Dynamic Network Data Envelopment Analysis
Developing realistic models for the evaluation of sustainable supply chains has turned into a major challenge facing managers. The decision-making approaches proposed here consist of two stages. At the first stage, a dynamic-network data envelopment analysis (DNDEA) model is established for the first time, wherein the current efficiency of a business can be influenced by its prior social and en...
متن کاملDevelopment of Forward-wave Directional Couplers Loaded by Periodic Shunt Shorted Stubs
In this paper a new procedure for designing forward-wave directional couplers using periodic shunt short circuited stubs is proposed. A new type of cell using these stubs, which enlarge the phase difference between even- and odd modes of a uniform microstrip coupled line is introduced. Using the equivalent circuit model for even- and odd-modes of the proposed cell, the elements of the ABCD tra...
متن کاملA New Dynamic Random Fuzzy DEA Model to Predict Performance of Decision Making Units
Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a methodology for measuring the relative efficiency of decision making units (DMUs) which ‎consume the same types of inputs and producing the same types of outputs. Believing that future planning and predicting the ‎efficiency are very important for DMUs, this paper first presents a new dynamic random fuzzy DEA model (DRF-DEA) with ‎common weights (using...
